Through the use of a MacBook Pro laptop computer and its music software programs (GarageBand versions 5.1 and 10.1.1), Devin Kira Murphy distorted, sequenced, and manipulated included sound loops and sounds she recorded to create auditory landscapes known as soundscapes. These soundscapes are her second collection of soundscapes that aim to fully immerse the listener in varying fictional alien environments ranging from the soothing to the highly jarring. It is these soundscapes that make up the tracks on this album “Alien Landscapes Volume Two”.

The cover art and tracks that make up the album “Alien Landscapes Volume Two” as well as all the art and text included in this accompanying booklet “Alien Landscapes Volume Two’s Album Booklet” are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported Licence. Apple Inc the creator of the GarageBand sound loops used, as the stating point, to create the tracks on Alien Landscapes Volume Two retains all off its original rights regarding these sound loops.
