Through the use of a MacBook Pro laptop computer and its music software programs (GarageBand versions 5.1 and 10.1.1), Devin Murphy rearranged, distorted and sequenced included sound loops to create auditory landscapes known as soundscapes. These soundscapes aim to get the listener to feel the quality or state that being slow can bring about, hence slowness. It should be mentioned that some of these soundscapes are intended to bring about in the listener a slower sense of slowness then some of the other soundscapes. It should also be mentioned that it is best if these soundscapes are not listened to while operating any power tools, heavy equipment or wile driving any kind of motorized vehicle as they have been created with the hopes of absorbing and relaxing the listener. It is these soundscapes that make up the tracks on this album (Feel The Slowness).

The cover art and tracks that make up this album “Feel The Slowness” as well as all the art and text included in its accompanying booklet “Feel The Slowness’ Album Booklet” are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported Licence. Apple Inc. the creator of the GarageBand sound loops used, as the stating point, to create the tracks on Feel The Slowness retains all off its original rights regarding these sound loops.
